Julie Haymaker

Ready for something new and exciting?  Waiting for something to take your beading skills in new directions? This could be just what you are waiting for! Shrinkets!! Julie Haymaker is the founder and owner of Shrinkets and spent many years developing and fine turning the silicon molds she sells and uses to make fabulous and detailed 3 dimension or flat shapes to be used in beading and other crafts. She has developed and manufactured her own line of jewelry-grade shrink plastic. Each year she adds new Shrinkets products to the line, including new molds, new shrink plastic color or new pre-cut Shrinkets bead shapes. Julie also teaches Shrinkets online classes, makes kits and offers free tutorials to make learning easy. She runs both a website shop and an ETSY shop.  As you can see in the photos, these pair very well with beads, beaded elements and even metal or other components.

Julie will speak to us via Zoom on May 28th at our General Meeting. She will then hop on a plane and be here on June 1st and June 2nd to teach in-person classes! Don’t miss it.

For class detail see our Events page.

Sadly, we had to cancel the Bead and Creative Arts Festival this year due to lack of sufficient vendors to make this fundraiser profitable. We are still showcasing the vendors who did sign up on the Festival Facebook page,  https://www.facebook.com/PBSpresentsBeadandCreativeArtsFestival, and encourage you to support these small businesses directly.  We are brainstorming ways to make the festival work in the future.
